Here at Spirit of Glass with over 35 years of experience and several awards under our belt, we consider design, colour and texture to be paramount. Whether it’s Contemporary, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Federation, Australiana, a picturesque scene, Classic or Bold, it is our desire to make sure your Window and/or Art Work is:

- Offers either a view through to your garden or diffuses the view from outside
Coming from an artistic background we understand blending to the style of house or creating a masterpiece to enhance your surroundings. All repairs are offered with use of original replacements where available keeping the integrity of the past. All work is carried out with care and the highest skill, from years of experience and training. Only quality work is offered and carried out, even on the most basic jobs. Price and service is paramount to us, we understand budget and need of efficiency, though good work takes time we are quick and competent though a one off master piece is worth the cost.

Kirsten Laken’s Glass Art is available in specific retail outlets, galleries or visits the Spirit of Glass Studio in the Dandenong Ranges to view the wide variety of work on sale. Kirsten runs classes in many of the techniques she uses at the picturesque Spirit Of Glass studio in the Dandenong Ranges.

I have had many classes at Spirit of Glass from the amazing Kirsten Laken. In a way that should tell you everything. Kirsten is a terrific teacher and mentor. She has wonderful attributes , it starts with a friendly hello, classes start on time and the studio is neat clean and organised. She is great at listening to ideas and helping to bring them to fruition. She is open to new and crazy suggestions for artwork. She also stars at helping with design or making suggestions to enhance your dream artwork. I have had the opportunity to try leadlight, stain glass painting, slumping/ fusing and combinations of the above. Without her formidable skills and talents I could never manage to develop my ideas and produce them as actual artworks, they would remain dreams. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Kirsten has done an amazing restoration job on my stain glass panel. We worked closely together to achieve an excellent outcome.
